March 1st, 2014

What do you do if you try to access your wordpress admin but find that it gives you an empty page?

Is it because of a missing password or wrong username,or is it because you have change your php file

and for some reason when you log into your wp-admin you have difficult to log in to your wordpress?

It gives you a frustrating white page and hangs there ? No matter what you do to delete the htaccess file,

removing the plugins or renaming the plug ins, clearing cache, nothing seems to work.

This is your solution:

a) You must have access to your cpanel’s phpadmin

b) Go to your database where your wordpress is

c) Navigate to wp_user

d) You will see your existing admin user, make a copy of that admin user

e) Edit the user and password for this copy

f) Use a new user and password, make sure that for the password, that you select under FUNCTION –> WD5

g) Step 5 is very important. You do not need to worry about the activation key.

h) Save the editing

g) Go back to your wordpress page, and you log in with your new username and password

h) Go back to the phpadmin –> database of your wp –> your new username –> you will see a new alphanumeric code

over your password.

i) Go to your word press and update your user where the old administrator is. You have to change a new role ( administrator ) as well as the password and email account.
